CreatalisTerms of Use
These terms govern the free use of Creatalis and the conditions applying to saved progress.
Ownership
“Creatalis” is the name used to identify the video game and project. Adrián Lorenzo Coira, the individual responsible for the project, publishes it under the name Alendana.
Use of Creatalis
Creatalis is provided free of charge, without advertising, purchases, subscriptions or associated revenue, for personal and entertainment use. Children must use it under the supervision of a parent or guardian and in accordance with the controls on their account and device.
Account and saved progress
Creatalis does not create proprietary accounts. Players can connect their Google Play Games profile to synchronise progress with their Google account. Use of that service is subject to Google's terms and controls.
If Google Play Games is not connected, progress is stored solely in the local storage of the WebView installed on the device. No copy exists on Alendana servers.
Loss of progress
Without Google Play Games connected, progress may be lost if Creatalis is uninstalled; its data or storage is cleared; the device is reset, replaced or lost; the Android user or profile is changed; a cleaning tool removes application data; the saved game is reset; storage corruption or a device, system or game failure occurs; or a write operation does not complete because of insufficient space or interruption.
A Creatalis error may prevent the only local copy from being saved or read again. If no synchronised copy exists in Google Play Games, that progress cannot be recovered. The player must understand and accept this risk before continuing without connecting the service.
A person who uses Creatalis without connecting Google Play Games chooses to keep a single local copy, accepts that risk and is responsible for loss resulting from those circumstances. Alendana cannot recover information it has not received or stored. This clause does not exclude liabilities or rights that cannot legally be limited.
With Google Play Games connected, recovery depends on the same Google account, successful synchronisation and service availability. Deleting the game's data in Google Play Games may also delete the synchronised copy.
Service availability
Creatalis is provided as available. Uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Access may be affected by the device, Android, Google Play, Google Play Games or maintenance.
Intellectual and industrial property
The video game as a whole and, to the extent legally applicable, its software, code, text, designs, interfaces, characters, creatures, illustrations, compositions, graphic elements, sounds, music and other content may be protected by intellectual or industrial property rights.
Protection may cover human creative contributions, compositions, modifications, selections, combinations and the original arrangement of elements, without implying that every component is individually protected.
Access to Creatalis does not transfer rights in the game or its content to the user. Reproduction, distribution, modification, extraction, exploitation or use without authorisation is not permitted where it infringes applicable rights. This clause does not restrict uses permitted by law or legally recognised exceptions and limitations.
Content, technologies and other elements belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners and are used under the applicable licences or permissions.
Unauthorised use
To the extent that applicable rights are infringed, users must not redistribute modified versions while attributing them to Creatalis; impersonate the developer or person responsible for the game; use protected elements in a manner likely to cause confusion about their origin; or remove intellectual or industrial property notices included in the software.
Prohibited conduct
Users must not interfere with the game's operation, bypass security measures, attempt unauthorised access to associated services, introduce harmful code, use abusive automation or use its content in a way that infringes third-party rights.
Third-party services
Creatalis may incorporate third-party technologies, APIs, SDKs, libraries or services governed by their own terms and licences. Google Play Games Services is currently intended for certain features related to game progress. Alendana does not control the Google account, terms, availability or data retention within that service.
Changes to these terms
Changes to these terms are published at this same address and show their update date. The published version applies from the date indicated, without prejudice to acquired rights and mandatory law.
